Bally back box socks backwards!

Post by Fortytwo »

Hello,
I am repairing a space invaders for someone. Game had horrible power supply issues. The owner previously installed a new aux driver board to support led's. When I started installing them about half didn't work. I realized the sockets were in backwards. Is this common or just a Monday, new guy on the line mistake. I have since fixed it.
Thanks

Definitely not common..... you say they are backwards, it could be that your LEDs have Polarity. Did incandescents work in there without issue?

Backwards for led's. The standard bulbs worked, the outside was attached to the control wire not the common. Luckily I have a desoldering station that made fast work of it.
