Whirlwind... What should I pay?

Post by ralphwiggum »

Brief description- In home use since 1998.... Cabinet is as close to perfect as you can get with only minor blemishes..... Playfield has zero wear and the factory mylar is in excellent shape with only minor bubbling.... Needs all new plastics, needs the small left on the ramp.... Needs shopped out, but will clean up to be damn near mint....Still has some of the original factory protection on the siderails....

Any thoughts?

is it faded?

Hard to tell if just pictures or if yellows washed out.

I am sure Dave M will be at the front of the line once you are done with it. Pretty sure that is his only ISO currently.

also, looks like you already have it in your basement so I am guessing the better question is what did you pay for it :) ?

I can't believe someone as experienced as you fell for the old "$800 Whirlwind" scam! :D

Nice find, it does look like it will clean up great. IMO the best part of this hobby is putting these machines back into use after years of being neglected.

Nice score... so what did yo pay? ;)

Is DaveM already at your house negotiating purchase, lol. Looks like it will be a sweet game once you work you magic to clean it up.

Value in current market once 100% >>> probably 3k give or take a few hundred.

I assumed. Just having some fun.

I also NEVER haggle on great deals, but have seen people that do.
