$old- For Sale HUO Full Throttle with Extras- $4500

Post by ralphwiggum »

I picked this Full Throttle up about 10 months ago. I am the 2nd owner. It is Home Use Only, and has zero issues (that I am aware of). I have purchased a bunch of new extra parts for it as well. The extras include TWO new IO Boards, a bunch of spare LEDs, spare sensors (these are under the playfield switches, there are no switches on the playfield- it is a really cool design)

Trades? Maybe... I have owned a lot of games but have an interest in a wide variety of games from all ERAs. I can't think of anything that stands out at this time except possibly a Gottlieb Genie, or a Guardians of the Galaxy Pro. But again, feel free to shoot all offers my way, I like them all.

I can get more pics for anyone that needs them..... Shouldn't be any surprises, it is a HUO game with no broken plastics, no playfield wear, etc....

This is a heck of a lot cheaper than the "other" Heighway game that's out there! Fun game with great flow! I miss being able to play the one that used to be on route. Wish I were in a position to buy as Full Throttle is a lot of game for the money! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks Mike..... it is a fun game, and I really enjoy it, but it is in our "rotation game" slot.
TSPP- Mine
IJ- My Wife's
Sinbad- My Kids
Full Throttle- Rotation

Once I am the only one playing the rotation game, it is time to move it along. My kids love the Guardians movies, so I could see that sticking around for awhile (maybe), and they really love Sinbad (which surprised me). Sometimes simpler is better. Full Throttle has a lot to play through, but my kids get discouraged trying to make it through everything, so they end up back on Sinbad.

Guardians would be a great choice with kids. Plenty of depth and strategy for you as well. My kids would love that theme as well. Even my 2 year old is obsessed with Baby Groot!

We have never played one. My only reluctance is that it turns into another Ghostbusters. It was our dream theme for our family, and it simply wasnt approachable by my wife or kids (casual players). I love Ghostbusters, and wish I could get it back, but can't justify the spot for it. The only way I could give up a spot for it would be Simpsons, and that would just be blasphemy.

I am hoping GOTG would be a lot more approachable. Watching videos of it, it looks pretty straightforward- Select character, play characters mode.

GOTG is much more approachable for kids. For one thing you can select your mode before you even plunge the ball. And you can start with Quill which gives you instant multiball. Starting multiball is also self explanatory. Shoot Groot in the mouth or shoot the orb. The only thing you may want to tighten up is the left out lane post as that side can be super drainy and may be frustrating for kids.
