If the whole purpose is to have the best players from each league then you are failing at that.

Wow. Just STFU for once.

I thought the whole purpose was to have fun playing competitive pinball and to welcome as many people as possible to come play. The twist is you have predetermined teams that are playing individually but accumulating points as a team for the team prize.

If they are looking for my stats, they are on IFPA and I have beat every single one of the other competitors at least once in the past. If I have an on day then I could definitely earn some points for their team and take some points off other teams.
You're really not coming across very well in all of this. I hope this isn't how you intended it it.....

We had a couple folks interested, but nowhere near 8. So please go ahead without us. Next year I'll try to get people thinking about it sooner so we have a better chance of getting quorum. :)

Thanks!

If the whole purpose is to have the best players from each league then you are failing at that. I dont know how other leagues accumulate points, but in Madison, if you show up to every league night then you are top 8 come end of the year. If you miss a league night then you wont be top 8.

Doesn't mean the top 8 are not good players, but if you asked each of them to pick the best 8 players to put together a team I can promise you they would be adding some not in the top 8 standings that just were unable to make it to league nights.
#fakenews

You can miss 3 league nights and still easily make top 8.
Who should we replace in Madison's top 8?
Maybe it is time to start your own league so you can make the top 8 next year. I can promise you no one in the Madison league will mind.

Well, this topic has gone a bit off the tracks; let it get it back on topic.

First, having fun will be mandatory.

I've received the rosters for Twisted Flippers, Titletown and Fox Cities leagues. I think Milwaukee has their team figured out, just waiting for confirmation. I still need team roster information for Madison and North Shore.

Stern sent three translights and some action figures for prizes too.

Less than a month away now...

We're less than a week away from the 2018 Wisconsin Intra-State Pinball League Tournament. A few quick reminders:

• If you have league T-shirts, be sure to wear them to represent your league.
• With the number of games and people, it will be warm in my basement, so dress appropriately.
• If you choose to drink, have a designated driver lined up to take you home safely.
• I have two cats and a dog, so if you have pet allergies, be sure to bring your medication.
• Main tournament – 1st, 2nd and 3rd place will win $50, $25 and $10 respectively along with their choice of prize from our sponsors.
• Side tournament will be on Harlem Globetrotters – everyone gets one free entry and successive entries will be $2 each. Top four qualifying scores will have a one game playoff after round 10 of the tournament with the winner taking all of the successive fees as prize. This will also be submitted to IFPA for points.
• Lunch will be ordered from Pizza Hut around noon.
• When parking, please do not block anyone’s mailbox.
• Time Warp is still out of commission, but I may have an Avengers coming in (stay tuned…)

If you have any questions in the meantime, feel free to reach out to me.

Thanks,
Eric
