That is pretty cool for a custom zombie head. I like that for the style.

What was the MSRP of the mustang Pro? They're listing this one at 6k.. that makes the real price what, 5k?

Holy buckets, they are STILL raising their prices? Craziness..... I am curious what their sales look like. they have to be really close to their tipping point.

I just hope it means more used pins being sold for fire sale prices :) so people can buy it.

(not like I have any more money to spend).

I guess the LE is cheaper this time than the ST LE was. The Pro is higher.. I think the entry level price should be lower. Jack up the price on the collectors if you must, but I think there's a lot of missed opportunity if you raise your Pro prices.

I like how the initial sticker shock causes much freaking out, then when the game comes out, it switches to bragging about how great a deal they got! I'm sure that a pro will still cost under $5K. My hunch is that when the pro creeps above $5K, sales will drop temporarily. I'm sure Stern knows this and is probably why they're in no hurry to update the system too much.

Even though it won't be in my collection anytime soon, It looks like a cool game and I'm sure it'll be a blast to play!

The game looks very well thought out but the theme does absolutely nothing for me. I hope I get a chance to play one and I hope another new game on the market shakes out some nice used games for those of us that prefer to go that way.

From what I've been gathering it seems that the true prices from distributors on these are around $4800 delivered on the Pro and around $7700 delivered on the LE. This is around $300-$400 more than Metallica was last year. I think the prices are ridiculous but people still seem to be buying despite hollow threats over not buying unfinished games that are priced too high. I think Tully is right in that Stern will want the price on the Pro to stay under $5K for the "real price". I think the reason the Msrp on the pro was $6K was so that people could use the 15% coupon on the Walking Dead website for the Pro model.

As for the game itself I think it looks pretty cool but it's really not anything that we haven't seen before. The artwork is great and I love the dark theme but this really just looks like Metallica 2.0 to me which isn't a bad thing.

I really like the playfield layout. It does have some MET flavor, but also has some cool added shots. The shooter lane/skill shot is cool as an "s" style with star rollovers. It is also fed from the left loop. In addition there is a inner loop similar to Theatre of Magic only from the other side. I like how the Zombie toy gets cut in half and shines red LEDs for blood. Both ramps seem to go through the back panel and are steep. The art is just great on the machine as well. I'm waiting for Hilton to get his first Stern, but it will probably be the next one by Trudeau...

depending on theme, it is the best chance of me ever having a NIB Stern.
