Trout Fishing? OFF TOPIC OK?

Post by noncommittaldave »

Does anyone here trout fish? I am jonesing to get out, my usual fishing buddies are either too busy or pussy whipped to get their asses out in the stream. The places i fish are too rugged for me to go it alone.

fly fishing or "regular" fishing?

I trout fish on my lake but that is just lazy man fishing with beer and drifting. Caught a 24inch rainbow last year.

Wood Lake (just south of Coloma, WI)
Grandpa bought the land in 57' and built in 64' I now own 50% of it and my mother owns the other 50%. My little slice of heavan on earth.

Caught 1 by hand like a good ole boy ;) (best fish catching experience ever; 20 mins of stalking it like a stealth native american woudl and like my grandpa taught me). Caught another on rapalla by trolling/drifting. Also caught a 22 walleye that same day.
Lately the lake has been pretty good fishing. Guy down a few housed pulled up a 5.5lb large mouth last year.
