Since this whole thing is in a state of disarray anyway -- how do people feel about doing a Flip Frenzy on the 16th? (Timed tournament, 2 player games).

May be less social than the standard 4 player groups, since you wouldn't have as much time to stand around and talk.

So, I’m going ahead with the Flip Frenzy tournament for the 16th.

Super short summary of what that is: Timed tournament, 2 player games, most net wins in the time limit is the winner.

Somewhat longer summary: Flip Frenzy tournaments run for a set time (we’ll probably do 2.5 hours). At the start, about 80% of the players are paired up and given a game to play. The other 20% go into a queue. When a game ends, the win/loss is recorded and player 2 from that game enters the back of the queue, while the first person in the queue goes to battle the other half of the game that just ended. Your “score” is total wins minus total losses.

Games go quicker because they’re only 2 player, and you’re playing a lot more often. Waiting in the queue is usually only a few minutes. Given the constant play, we’ll skip the side game and pay out the top 4 spots (assuming enough people show up).

It’ll be a good time. Honest.
