Faster than other sites... 10 fold. Bravo! Helps you only have a handful of people on this one and not thousands.

The hamster that runs on the wheel to keep this running gets an extra salt lick in the morning.... Even if the site grows, I don't think speed will ever be an issue.

I REALLY like this board code. It's very clean and looks cool to boot! Nice work Ralph!

Thanks... I am working on a few other things too, mainly a portal interface for mobile device (which I browse with the most).... I am all about keeping it simple.

is there a way to see if there are new posts in a thread without clicking on it?

It lights up in blue Text or a Blue Icon to the left. Read items show Black or Gray.

What Pauly said.... in addition if you wish to be notified of certain updates or want to subscribe/bookmark certain thread or certain forums, there are tools at the bottom of each page to do so.

So how do I earn karma points?
I need a reason to post pointless nonsense.

This is a great, focused forum.
Thanks for putting it together.
And if you can find a way to make the site/design responsive via a portal or whatnot that would be amazing!
More and more websites will have responsive design soon now that everyone uses their phones for browsing.
I guess this Internet fad is here to stay.
