TNA upper flipper - intermittent - SOLVED

Post by DeaconBlooze »

So my TNA, the upper flipper only fires sometimes. Sometimes it fires halfway, and sometimes not at all.

There are no switches on the flippers. I did give the upper flipper a light rebuild just in case, it doesn't seem like anything is binding.

What should I consider next in a PC based game?

Actually, maybe there's too much play. I'll have to check it out closer tomorrow and report back.

Check the flipper button switch to make sure it is getting good contact (test in switch test also)

After that track back the wires from that flipper and make sure they are solid on both ends.

Got it - just a little too much slop it seems, and it was getting just a little hung up. I shouldn't work on pins so late at night! Thanks for the tips.
