2018 IFPA Points for Wisconsin Pinheads
I'm going to start off by saying I really hope this doesn't turn into a rant about how greedy the Sharps are and how stupid this change is. We've all been down that road and there are some differences in opinion, but from what I've heard majority of us aren't happy about it. I'm hoping we can keep t...

Sounds like a great way to do it! I'll make sure to bring a few extra Benjamins!

Re: Would you enter for a chance to win WOZ or Hobbit?
I would be in for at least one. How many tickets per player would you need to sell? Can you get a commitment from a some people like kingpin, other wealthy players to say if we get to $X I will purchase the remaining tickets? Do we have to get to $10k or would the minimum be $8k to sill move forward...

Re: Where does Don in Verona keep finding games?
My brother just bought Don's Jurassic Park a few weeks ago. At that time he had just picked up a Stern Indiana Jones and one other pin I can't think of right now. He said he drove over 5 hours to go pick them up. When we tried to dig a little into where he gets his games, he just said he has several...

WTB 2nd DMD Game for $2500 or less
Hey guys, I've saved up the cash and, more importantly, have the wife's blessing to get my second machine. Price limit is around $2500 again. I prefer DMD games but would consider some earlier solid state machines. Demo man and Jurassic Park are at the top of my list right now, but there are so many...

Sling Link
Anyone in the Milwaukee area have an extra sling armature link laying around? I only need 1 and shipping from pinball life will cost me $8 for the $0.60 part... I'm having a friend 3D print me one too, but he only prints with PLA, so I'm concerned with it's strength and durability. Thanks! Part numb...

Re: LED basic questions
Do you use flex bulbs for all your inserts? or just the sideways mounts? As far as the mounts question, I believe they are screwed into the playfield from the top, just can't tell because they are buried under ramps and plastics. Thanks for the input! Brandon P.S. I think my brother(s) and I are goi...

LED basic questions
Hey guys, I'm getting ready to invest in Comet LED's for Goldeneye and I have a few questions that I can't find in my searches online. 1. Does non-ghosting requirements apply to bulbs used for GI lighting? - I ask because I wanted to go with 2 SMD bulbs, but I don't see any frosted non-ghosting bulb...

Re: LotR Cave Shot question - SOLVED!
Resolved the issue, turns out the guys we got the machine from had the two switches wired wrong. The "sword completion switch" and the "rail exit switch" were reversed. Easy enough to switch them back under the playfield. Glad I brought my tools up as a wire for the right flipper...

Price Check on modded JP
Can you guys take a look at this and let me know what a decent offer would be? My brother is looking at it and just wanted an idea of what to offer. I pointed him to Chris's recent onslaught of sales, so maybe he'll change his mind. But I know he is a big fan of JP, I personally am not a big fan of ...

Re: Ball trough issues - Goldeneye - SOLVED!
Just replaced all 5 trough switches this morning and my tests have shown that the issue has been resolved! Thanks for all your input and suggestions, I had a lot of fun diagnosing and finally correcting the issue. Learned a lot on this repair and look forward to learning more as I tackle other issue...

Re: Ball trough issues - Goldeneye
EDIT: filed down the tip of the nut driver and got it to fit. The project is back on. Fingers crossed I don't screw anything up! :) So I thought I was all primed and ready to replace my trough switches tonight... well the 1/8" nut driver wont fit into the opening to get those recessed screws ou...

Re: LotR Cave Shot question
Also in my experience with this 'glitch', the sword ramp still worked as it should have. It's just the roll under acted the same as the sword's action. This is correct, the sword is still functioning fine. Also I mis understood the question about a KEEP letter, but yes it is awarding the letting wh...
