Re: Tully's 15 minutes of fame.

It's a longshot as I had my bowling league last night and taking 2 nights off baby duty in a row is probably not an option I'd try to pursue. But I'll check with Vanessa and see if maybe we can stop out for a little while tonight with the little guy in tow? -This will all depend on how my wife and T...

Re: February 22nd Line-up & Discussion

I know this is a little late but thanks for hosting league again at Wauna Tully. I had a blast! I know it was a PITA to setup and take down all the games but I'm glad you were able to make it all work out.

Re: Tully's 15 minutes of fame.

I started reading the article at league night, but glad there's an electronic copy available so that I could finish reading it. I thought it was really well written and gave an accurate depiction of the pinball hobby and I also enjoyed reading the personal stories on Tully, Hilton, and Lance. Tully,...

Re: March 29th 2014 line up

Great line-up of games and nice work getting games ready for next month's event! I'm really looking forward to playing WOZ 2.0 which should be available by then!

Re: February 22nd Line-up & Discussion

That sucks but at least we can work around it... I'll plan on sticking around late and help break games down after. I can probably stop out early to help setup games as well.

Looking forward to seeing everyone on Saturday!

Re: Introduce yourself thread...

Hi, My name is Mike. I've lived in the Madison area since 1999 after graduating from College but have only been in the pinball hobby since 2005. I grew up in village called Roberts in western Wisconsin with a sub 1000 population. We had a general store, a couple bars and an arcade/video rental cente...

Re: New Location in Madison! need your feedback pls

This is great news! Congrats on getting this put together and a big thanks to the collectors' that are putting their personal games on location. This is a great way to put pinball on the map for Madison! Looking forward to hearing more about the location that you found. As far as days go, I think We...

You could make it a parody of one of Appleton's most famous places of entertainment and call it the "BeanFlippers" pinball tournament

Re: Will IFPA do the SCS in 2014?

I could probably host a standard tournament at my place the morning/afternoon of Saturday, June 21st before I host league night.-Similar to what Hilton did for Last Chance. I'd probably have to cap it at 16 people due to space limitations, which would probably be fine considering it's Summer and peo...

Re: FEB. Pin get together? Lake Geneva, WI

Chris, Thanks for hosting such a fun party! I don't think the word man-cave would do your place any justice. Your basement is a man-palace :D You've really got a great collection with a lot of diversity as well and I loved the artwork and how you have the playfields built into the wall. I really enj...

Re: Oct2013-Sept2014 Season dates and IFPA stuff

The 27th would work better for me as well since the 19th is my anniversary/Easter wknd. I know Vanessa is supportive of my pinball hobby but I'm not sure she'd like to hang out with all you guys on our anniversary

Re: Potential Barry Oursler Charity Event?

It's pinball and it's for a good cause. You can count me in! Thanks for taking the initiative. I like the shorter format and later start especially since Wauna is the week before.

Re: WTT- WoF, NGG for FT, CFTBL

I totally get it! I think they're all great games. It's a close call between which group of 2 games are better.-My choice would vary by the day. I'm just looking forward to finally being able to play R911. I have yet to play that game and I'm sure yours will be super nice once you're done with it!
