Re: Stern TMNT

I have very little enthusiasm for ANY pin right now cause my basement is currently overfilled, and I have one more arriving soon. So I gotta clear out like four pins before I buy another one. If I weren’t in that particular situation, I’d allow myself to watch the streams and get all hyped up. Love ...

Re: So..., tell me about the Madison area

Nice, I used to work downtown. I miss it! Tons of great restaurants and coffee shops, and I'd often walk State Street from the square to Bascom Hill for some lunch exercise. The ice cream in the Union is fantastic. Traffic inbound on John Nolen in the morning is good. Outbound on John Nolen at rush ...

Re: So..., tell me about the Madison area

We moved to Oregon for the schools, and are happy thus far. We're happy out here with the small-town atmosphere, although the property values are pretty high for a small town. It's definitely not a place to come if you want nightlife; there are few bars or restaurants in town. And as it's low-lying ...

Welcome to town, Eric! Oh, and what do you want to know about the area?

Re: FS: Crusin World sit-down driving arcade game

What pinball collector wouldn’t secretly love to live in a pole barn? Every time I go for a cruise in the country, I see tiny farmhouses with awesome side buildings and get jealous. :)

Re: Source for a Sega Launch Ball button

Yeah, eyeballing it, it should fit great. I'll update this thread if it doesn't (and when I put it in). I should just get off my butt and replace it now, but I have a prioritization model for my free time right now, and beer is currently above non-essential maintenance. :)

Re: Source for a Sega Launch Ball button

I've got the new button, and it looks like it'll be a perfect fit, but while I was waiting for delivery I couldn't be with Hof, so I hot glued the shit out of the old one, and it has held up so far! I wanted to be sure Hof would be ready for league, which I was figuring would be in May, after my R&a...

Re: Covid- How is Everyone Holding Up?

There are neighborhood kids that didn't get the memo around here, too. One kid was riding around on her bike handing rocks to other kids. People generally seem to be pretty good, but every once in a while someone just wanders right up to you. Maybe that's the best reason to wear a mask.... people mi...

Re: Covid- How is Everyone Holding Up?

That’s cool they supplied you with a plastic shield. That probably helped quite a bit. Sounds like people were well-behaved. I haven’t checked the news, I hope that was true around the State. I’ll leave a link to prove that we’re all holding up pretty well during quarantine. I don’t know that anyone...

Re: Covid- How is Everyone Holding Up?

Politics aside I think it’s stupid they are holding this today. No reason for it. It's tough not to get political. I won't rant too much except to say that some people want their political power so much that they're willing to get people killed to do so. And lest anyone think "won't affect me&...

Re: Covid- How is Everyone Holding Up?

Bring a garbage bag to put all that stuff into if you're going to take it home with you. Toss it all in, tie it up, and leave in the garage for a while.

Would be too much to bring a bunch of SCUBA gear and just breathe on a regulator the whole time? :)

Good luck!

Re: Covid- How is Everyone Holding Up?

1. I manage the IT operations team at a State agency, supporting staff and maintaining IT infrastructure (servers, databases, etc). Fortunately our work is conducive to WFH for the most part, and our Director is a big proponent. We took most of Week One to mobilize 95% of our work, and we've taken t...
