Re: How did you all get started?
I started thinking about owning a pin in 2004. I didn't know anyone that owned them. After some research on the web to figure out if I could repair one I found Clay's site. This site was in layman's terms on how the electronics worked, what usually went wrong, recommended tools and supplies to get t...

Welcome Quy, I live in the Wausau area. There are a couple pins on location at the local bowling joints. Hit me up when you are in the area.

Tech tip: yellow rubber bumper sleeve fitment
After talking to one of my pinball friends and mentioning that I have 2 of these big yellow rubbers on my game (Truck Stop). He said "wow those are a pain to install". Here's a trick I have used putting a seal on a carburetor accelerator pump shaft. Use a ball point pen cap or part of the ...

Re: Help, I am getting a pinball machine!
Since it is in your office area - if you have any sunlight that hits it throughout the day - put a cover on the game when not using it. Sunlight can fade the cabinet and playfield and affect resale value.
How do you like playing it so far?

Re: Williams system 9 boots to 0 then crashes + solution
Could be that this is common knowledge to some or may help someone along the way Space Shuttle boots to 0 but is effectively "dead" Took some time to figure this out... Tested lots of typical stuff. Problem turned out to be an internally broken and stuck on "advance" switch on t...

Re: Far Our stuck in Game Over. Won't reset.
Well I got it. Some wires were cut on the coin door. Once it was running I found a lot more errors. Ball doesn't launch, no ball counter, bonuses don't add, bumpers don't work, etc. There's a bit more, but this one will be one hell of a project... it looks so nice though. Congrats on making...
