Re: So..., tell me about the Madison area

Welcome, Eric! It looks like everyone else has given some great advice on the area already. I think CG is great. It's small, and has a few decent restaurant options, and Sun Prairie/Monona/Madison are all just short trips to expand upon that. Chicken Licks is technically in SP, but pretty darn close...

Re: Covid- How is Everyone Holding Up?

1. I'm still working. I can do practically 100% of my job from home, and I have a pretty nice setup, so that transition has been easy for me. This is a busy time of year for me, so work has taken up a lot of my time, but I'm feeling fortunate to have something this flexible and secure. My wife is a ...

Re: Introduction

Welcome!

I'll reiterate what others have said - Ballers is a really good first event to go to. It's very casual, Donovan and Katie are great people, and it's very close to you. Most of the other Ballers events are around the MSN or MKE area, just as an FYI.

Nope. I would really have to move a few things out. I just couldn't bring myself to pull the trigger on it, cool as it looks.

Re: Rick and Morty

I was hoping I'd have the chance to play this before deciding, but I'm really happy for Spooky.

I'm also glad so many locals are getting it. Congrats!.... I'll bring the beer.

Re: Rick and Morty

Good point on the waitlist. I wonder if they'll take all Fang Club orders between a date interval, and then sort them by Fang Club number (assuming there's some chronological list). Do we know where previous customers fit into this? I thought they had some early purchase ability on other games.. may...

Re: Rick and Morty

A friend recommended the show to me a long time ago. I started on that s2 cable episode. I thought it was basically another Family Guy, and I've gotten pretty fatigued on the "randomness" joke mechanic. Those are funny episodes now after you get a little bit about what the show's about, but it was t...

Re: Rick and Morty

I'm watching pretty closely. I'm really interested, but I'm worried that my apprehension to order sight unseen might mean I don't get a chance to buy one at all.

I also want to make sure it's not something that would mean banning my kids from the gameroom..

Re: Happy Turkey Day

I created a pseudo holiday several years ago. I call it "Thanksgiving Part 2". At my old job we still needed to have a skeleton group to watch over all of our open warehouses. I took that shift, and instead took off on Monday. I find Thanksgiving Part 2 superior to Regular Thanksgiving in the follow...

WTB; Lucky Hand (Jacks Open?)

A friend of my dad's is looking for a Lucky Hand. I think they're looking for only that particular title, but if you have a Jacks Open you're interested in selling, let me know and I can also pass that along.
