Re: Anyone in on iron maiden?
As much as Im not a fan of the band, the game is awesome! Really nice layout and flow. Probably liked it more since I couldn't hear the music  Thinking about actually getting one (assuming that the music can be replaced). I know which one you were talking about with the droopy flipper. It wasn'...

WTB: Whirlwind
Putting the feelers out for a Whirlwind. Condition doesn't matter since you can buy playfields (and Id prefer a project because of that). Haven't seen any pop up for sale in a while in the usual places.

Re: Houdini at Geeks Mania
I was planning on taking a day off to spend out there too because of this. The early reviews seem to be pretty good. I should have played it at expo when I was there, but didn't feel like standing in line.

This sounds fun. Did you end up finding the software?

Re: Star Wars
Yeah, Keith started working at Stern in March. I totally agree on the software part. Its like a year or two after a machine comes out before the software gets really good. Maybe part of that is just all the play people put into the machine, they can see what strategies people develop or something. N...

Re: Where does Don in Verona keep finding games?
I can give some new insight into things. Bought a fish tales from the guy in Rock Island who flips games. I know some people dont like him, but whatever. He is fine if you know what to expect going in. Anyways, apparently he has done a few deals with Don. He mentioned that a few times he has split b...

Re: Black Hole status display error
Sounds like its already there. Then yes, it probably just needs to be adjusted a little. Im had a few instances where when moving the upper playfield, a wire gets caught on the bracket and bends it a little.

Re: Black Hole status display error
Are you talking about the VUK from the lower to the upper, or the ball lock eject? If its the VUK, you dont want it too strong. I have a nice chunk out of my playfield from the ball tearing up and slapping the glass then down on the playfield. Cliffy sells a bracket that will allow you to add a cut ...

Ahhh...that sucks. I'm just one of those crazy people who dont ever carry cash on them, so it was convenient. I get why you dont want to buy more then. Good to know though.

Re: Madison Pinball: ALT BREW; open Tues-Sat; 9+ games now
Yup, it was a really nice joint. Wish it was closer. You totally need to get payrange out there ;) I hate having to carry around quarters. Aliens I think could be good, but something was up with it not showing shots correctly with the inserts. For example, I started Find Jonesy and it never lit whic...

Re: Black Hole status display error
Great idea on the strips! I cant believe I havent thought of that for the lower field. Im totally going to steal that once I put my BH back together (its disassembled in my basement waiting for playfield touch ups and clear after I finish F14). By "almost" having multiball you mean you wer...

Re: Black Hole status display error
Wish I would have looked at the schematic first, would have been easier than tracing the wire...lol. On A10P6 the ground wire connects to display 3 ground. The wire loops through then up to player 1. Verified on my machine. Hopefully that helps.
