Re: Great Lakes Pinball Open

I really wish I could go. I'll be cutting down some trees and wishing I was there. Good luck guys. I'm sure it's gonna be a blast.

Re: Iola Car Show - Coin-Op Vendors

I've never been but always wanted to. I have a 51 GMC 3/4 ton waiting for my attention. I'm gonna try to go this year. Maybe get some truck parts and some coin op stuff. Can't go wrong.

Re: Stern Rawhide Sound board replaced with Arduino/raspberry Pi???

Eric, I think we talked about this before. I haven't really looked at how the inputs come in the current board yet but I think it's based off of where the chimes would usually be. I'll take a look at this but I think there are simpler ways now compared to when you did this. I would like to change th...

Stern Rawhide Sound board replaced with Arduino/raspberry Pi???

I have a Stern Rawhide EM with the sound board. The problem is the board sounds like crap and I can't find schematics. I'd like to replace it with an Arduino, raspberry pi, or similar and make my own sounds. This would take relays for inputs, the Arduino or raspberry pi, a power supply, and an ampli...

WTB Stern Rawhide BackBox Door

Hey Guys, I just picked up a Stern Rawhide Em that's missing the back door to the BackBox. Approximately 27" x 24. This was the first pin Stern Put out after buying Chicago Coin so it's probably a CC back door.

If you have one please let me know.
Thx

Re: Planning for the future - Basement Arcade

Great posts to follow. I have considered this a lot. My current basement is not at all conducive for hosting a pinball party, let alone power enough pinball machines. I have 3 machines scattered on the main floor of my house due to lack of power in the basement and the pain in the butt it is to make...

Re: 1930's pins

Thanks for the feedback guys. I am no stranger to EM repairs. I'm bringing 2 to MGC next weekend. I still haven't heard back from the friend of the family that wants me to look at it but if it works out, I'm going to tackle it. It sounds like documentation and parts are the hardest to find. If I tea...

1930's pins

Who has worked on a pin as old as the 1930's? I have repaired plenty of EM all the way up to the 2000's Sterns. Never something that old. I think Tully has.
A friend of the family is asking me to take a look at one. Just looking to find out more about that era. I can't imagine its too complicated.

Re: Looking to Trade Evlis (Now for sale, Asking $4,000)

I have replaced all lamps with LED's. I replaced the rubber rings prior to the Midwest Gaming Classic in April. Waxed the playfield. The Playfield is in great shape, no wear marks or chipping. Ramps and plastics all look great. The cabinet shows some signs of age, the flipper button areas are a bit ...

Looking to Trade Evlis (for sale, asking $4000)

looking to trade Elvis. Primarily looking for a Bad Cat's plus $$ my direction, or some other pin/project. I am open to other trades but the boss really likes Elvis and really only wants to entertain giving it up for Bad Cats.
I will be bringing it to MGC.
