I was also expecting something that acted more like traditional slings. This looks very random, it will certainly take some getting used to. I look forward to playing them to see for myself what the experience is like.

Agreed with Tim and Hilton, proceed with a bit of caution. It is very common to be too enthusiastic in making your first purchase and there are those that will take advantage of that. If you can get to know one of the collectors in your area and see if they might help guide your through the process ...

GLWTS on the No Fear Brian. It looks like a nice game. If you can't find a buyer here, get it to MGC in a couple of months. It will almost certainly sell there.
