Final Four in Main Tournament was:
Chris Frame
Luke
Dave Daluga
Timothy Enders

Side Tourney
Tom Graf
Ryan S(Third)
+Not sure who finished second as I left

Came down to the third game on AFM in the Main tourney. Dave Daluga put up almost 500mil on WOZ in our first game. Shadow was the second.
I got out of there between 10:30pm-11:00pm. I talked to Ryan S at 12:15am and he was just getting done with the side tourney...

Really amazing day of pinball! Games played excellent and the tilt was perfectly set.
Thanks again, Tom for an awesome day of pinball. Two days of pinball for Ryan S...

What a great and long day of pinball. Thanks to Tom and his family for opening of their house and running this great thing. It went very smooth. Was a little warm but we're all friends right?

Lots of laughs and a good way to spend a saturday.

LOL, Eric! Yeah, Daluga was there for a long while. He had over 300K on his first ball.
Also, BJ McCarthy put up over 100 Million on Simpson's Pinball Party in the Final Eight Playoffs. He made it to Alien Invasion. Crazy.

There were some crazy things to be seen yesterday. Two back to back rounds of "Total Annilation" on AFM by separate players was my personal favorite of the day. Also some crazy scores put up on Metallica and Batman, some really great pinball was played yesterday, it was fun to watch and participate. All of that pinball played and I believe only one game that had to drop for mechanical malfunction, that is amazing in it's own right! Thanks Tom for running such an awesome tourney and sharing your amazing collection!

Long Day of Pinball!
I wanted to thank Chris Matte, Eric Strangeway, Art Dodd, Garrett Peterson and a few others I'm sure I'm forgetting for entering in scores and general tournament help.
Thanks to Mike Sievert for hauling Centaur II down and setting it up for me.
Also a big thanks to Jersey Jack, Spooky, and Stern Pinball for giving us awesome prizes for our event.

We started with 9am practice and went 10am until we finished Mini Finals at Midnight. A finals wrapped up around 10:30pm
Qualifying ran from 10am till about 4pm.
Took time to enter scores, although we had a lot of help, which slowed things down.

For the most part games worked well with some small ball hangups.
A funny moment was on NBA FastBreak during playoffs. The left flipper went bonkers during our match. Ian lost his ball and was trying to explain what happened as the flipper was doing a dance in front of me. I reassured him I understood what was going as I saw it Machine gunning before my eyes.

I did get a few tight tilt complaints from 2-3 players during playoffs (Star Trek, Medieval Madness). Had they not been tight people would have left at 3am.

It was hot but we all knew that it would be going in.

There were a ton of good players present and all the matches were very competitive.

So I listened to the comments and suggestions from last year. These were the changes:
1. Randon draw on games for main playoffs(previous years top seeds picked)
- Chris Frame was 16th (last qualifier in A) and won. Luke was 11th Qualifier and came in second.
- Top 1 & 2 Qualifiers got knocked out first round.

2. Need to keep factory ball saves on(previously they were off)
- I had no problem with this but probably made the tournament run a little longer.

3. No more double elimination
- IFPA really killed that. :D

I think the tournament went really well and I hope everyone had a good time.
If there was only one thing I could change or make better it would just be trying to keep on top of score entry into the computer. Just a hard task while the tournament is going.

Tonight or tomorrow I will submit scores to the IFPA.

Super tired. Again hope everyone had a great time.

Tom.

Next event will be the 3 strikes and match play event
Flippin the Fox/King of the Fox tournaments. I like these tournaments better personally. We start with the 3 strikes and then you get paired into the King of the fox when you are eliminated.
A few changes this year do to IFPA 5.2:
We will play in 4/3 player groups with bottom 2 people receiving a strikes.
For King of the Fox, played in groups of 4, Top 16 receive a bye
