Hello everyone! Long time lurker, first time poster:
My name is Jessica, and with the help of Madison Pinball and Art In (our swanky home-base!), a Belles & Chimes Madison chapter is beginning!
Belles & Chimes (http://bellesandchimespinball.com/) is a nationwide network of women's pinball leagues, founded in 2013 in Oakland, California.
Our mission is to provide a fun, social environment for women to play pinball together.
I am working toward a tentative launch for the end of October with events on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month. My goal is to create another space for women to play pinball, and to encourage pin-curious women to get involved in the Madison pinball community (and beyond) and a whole! I'd love to also host quarterly tournaments (all genders welcome) where 100% of buy-in $$ goes toward local charities, and players would win awesome prizes.
If you're interested in helping out, please feel free to reach out to bellesandchimesmadison@gmail.com. I would really like to have a group of about 3-4 women as chapter organizers, if possible, due to work and travel schedules of those already interested.
