FS: Black Knight 2000 $2,600 - SOLD

Post by netcivil »

You've got the power! You've got the Might!

First let me say, I'm by no means a pinhead or capable of anything but the simplest of repairs on my stuff (as those of you on her that know me are aware). I'd comfortabley define myself as a leech on the pinball community, but I have too much fun playing and too little skill fixing to do otherwise. I owned a star wars machine for 14 years, had it shopped by someone else last year, and got the itch to buy a few more, but I lean on others a lot for my stuff - I play, not fix :)

I bought this BK2K from another WI Pinballer who had it in his collection, then put it on route for a few months. He brought to my house, tweaked a few things that bumped loose in transit, and it's been paying solid since.

The cabinet is really good I think, some fade on the front-right side and front it looks like. The playfield is good, has some mylar bubbles, but plays really great. Has 4 BriteCaps on the upper playfield that I think really add to the game. There are a couple of cracked plastics (added pics of the ones I could find) and two small holes just below the flippers.

It was bought as I game I had a nostalgic past with, but in my house, it just doesn't seem to get played. Maybe 100 plays in the few months I've had it.

Would love to trade for one of the following, otherwise for sale out right for $2800 (what I paid for it).

Primary wants...
Williams Indiana Jones
Game of Thrones Pro
Wizard of Oz
Champion Pub

Interest in..
Rocky & Bullwinkle
Slugfest
NBA FastBreak
Pirates of the Caribbean

If you're on the fence, wondering if you can pull this off, let me close by saying "You can do it! You can do it!"

Those two holes you speak of below the flippers are normal. They are for proper alignment of the flippers.

Glad it didn't take long for me to prove my incompetence. :)

I just wanted to weigh in on this game, it in great mechanical shape. I was the previous owner and went through the whole game thoroughly, new sleeves on mechs, LEDS and rebuilt pops and flips. This game is mechanically very sound. We put it on route at Schwoeglers, and then we purchased some newer games and this one got pushed out after only about 5-6 months. Cosmetically it has a few flaws (as noted in the ad), but it is very presentable, much better than many BK2K's out there.

Seller is a great guy to deal with, highly recommend working with him.

Thanks Garrett,

I was gonna throw your name out there to give my listing more cred, but wasn't sure if that was cool. Garrett was super cool about bringing out it, testing everything, making the few needed adjustments and giving me some tips. I think he came thinking he'd spend like 30 minutes and didn't leave to after my family was all in bed and fast asleep :)
