New ramps and cliffy protectors

If I buy new plastic ramps for my BOP. Would it still be a good decision to put Cliffy ramp protectors on, or with the ramps being new it would not be needed. Just wondering.

Just like with sex, you can never have too much protection.
If I spent the money on new ramps, I would spend a little more on the cliffys
