Hey Lance,

The main tournament and the side tournament (mini lightning flipper challenge) are for IFPA points.

The Lightning flipper challenge is $5 a try on the three games (BSD, FT and Dr. Who)

There will also be a one ball LOTR mini tournament for $1 a ball with a 60/30/10 split for 1st/2nd/3rd
The LOTR mini will NOT be for IFPA points.

We also have just one spot available if anyone is interested.

LOTS of pinball. Just out of curiosity, what kind of time frame do you anticipate it ending? I'm guessing if it runs late(ish) we can eat leftover lunch? Not that I have to worry about being in it late but this guy I'm riding with is pretty good. :)

I bought 90 brats and 80 burgers. That's enough for everyone to have 2 of each. No one should go hungry.
I am guessing wrapping up by 8-9pm at the latest. I could always be wrong either way. Every thing is first year so I'm sure there will be some hiccups.
We'll see how it goes and can always make changes for next year based on how things go.
My only hope is everyone has a good time. I realize that maybe an impossibility though. :D

You would have to try very hard to not have a good time with all the great people that are coming. Going to be hard to fall asleep tonight with all the excitement building. 16 hours til we hit the road!

I wont give away all the secrets to it, but it starts with a pretty strict training regiment. I have had Wendy's Chili for breakfast lunch and dinner for the last 14 days. I then mix in approx. 1-3 liters of warm Coca-Cola per day, and then play a little "holdem" with my internals. Throughout the tournament, this is silently released into the air, and my competitors will notice a slight burning sensation in their nostrils, thus causing tears, and blurred vision.

When pulled off successfully, it is a true thing of beauty.

Hopefully my games won't light on fire. :)
