I'm looking forward to having everyone over for the SCS next Saturday. It looks like pizza will be brought in for lunch. In regard to an evening meal later during the three strikes tournament, I'm not planning on anything other than chips/snacks/popcorn. My wife has some other activities with the kids that day, so I won't be able to pick up/make anything, but if anyone wants to bring a treat to share for later in the day, feel free.

I've been working on making repairs for items that broke during the last chance tournament. Below is a list of completed repairs. If you notice something that I may have overlooked, let me know.

Meteor - Fixed loose post by spinner.
Eight Ball - Fixed broken upper pop bumper and star rollover switch.
Jungle Lord - Switch matrix crapped out and now working (it started when I noticed the tilt wasn't working).
RBION - Ball trough issue ended up being a stuck ball on the playfield.
Alien Poker - Spinner repaired.
Roadshow - eddy current sensor in front of Ted wasn't working, but now is fine. I suspect heat/number of games was the issue.
Embryon - Fixed weak upper flipper, repaired left slingshot, replaced broken capacitor on tilt (MUCH more sensitive now).
TFTC - fixed weak left flipper.

Another note - any extra balls earned during play for SCS and 3-Strikes tournament will be plunged except for add-a-ball EM machines.

There are still openings for the 3-strikes tournament starting around 3 PM on Saturday, January 20. It is open to everyone, so let me know if you want to play in that one.

thanks,
Eric

Stng had a real sticky bottom left flipper and the upper right flipper was a little weak...

I also remember on taf when you would hit the center ramp it would pop the ball up. Not sure if the metal piece was flush or not on the entrance to the ramp. And on tz the left flipper was set higher than the right flipper a bit. Played fine though

I'll take a look at those issues. ST:TNG is probably the game most prone to weak flippers due to lower voltage/heat with all of the other games on.

you can just throw it out. I think you have plenty of games to choose form, lol :)

I think the best medicine will be to keep games off that are not being actively played after the practice session. That way it will help eliminate some issues with heat and also eliminate voltage being pulled to games not being played.
