Congradulations to the Mad City Pinball League in winning the 2017 Intrastate Tournament. It was hard fought and CLOSE going literally all the way to the last game of the morning. The final scores and top dogs are:

-Madison - 147 with Tim and Gareth each posting 22 points
-Milwaukee - 145 with Rob A taking the lead at 21
-Fox Cities - 144 with Scott and Russ sharing the lead at 22 points as well

The Mad Twisted Fox Knockout Bash was hard fought as well with following results:

1st Place - Rusty from the Fox Cities
2nd Place - Ken from Madison
3rd Place Chris from the Fox Cities
4th Place Matt from Milwaukee

It was a great day of pinball and all in all went very smooth. A few machines went down but we had enough to keep it going. I must again thank Tom, Eric, Paul, Neo, and Ryan helping to coordinate everything. Honorable mention goes to Sean and Garrett who both gave up an evening to help us prepare.

Results to the IFPA is being submitted.

Thanks for everything Mark, Ian, and the rest of the family and helpers! What a fantastic day of great pinball and even better friends!

It's absolutely amazing and awesome that with 72 games played in the team tournament, the point spread between 1st and 3rd place was 3 freaking points! Literally one game would have changed the end results...so crazy. Big congrats to the Madison team for bringing home the win! :)

Can't wait until next year!

Well said, Chris Matte! Thanks a ton to Mark and his family as it could not run any smoother. Games played great and the competition was awesome and super super tight.
Just an amazing day of pinball. I am really proud of all the teams for their efforts. It could have gone anyway. Super proud of all the Madison team as everyone contributed to the win. One of my favorite trophies because of the team battle.

Thanks for all of the kind words. It truly was more enjoyment that I thought it would be when I wasn't playing. :)

Learned a few things along the way - still thinking of conducting an open tournament sometime next year when there is a break in the year.

Now the big question is, will the North Shore Pinball League be joining us next year to make it a foursome?
