In looking at the photo it appears that a blob of solder on the diode could be contacting the metal support under the coil. Keep us posted on what you find.

Not sure on the rooms. The manual should specify the setup. But I don't believe an offset angle is required.

Well first off, you can never have enough space :lol: A dark ceiling would be good for playing the games but could make it darker for working on the games (just a thought). Flooring - a tight weave carpet should allow dollies to roll easily when moving games. Remember that carpet could suck up summe...
