Starting the playfield swap on this now. NEO shot an extra coat of clear on this one and it just looks like glass.

This is the old playfield.

Bally Xenon LED light strip

I'm selling my Bally Xenon LED light strip. I modded my old one and I like it better. This is the last one Marco's had in stock. Selling it for what I paid for it. $44.

Re: overlay or new playfield

Agree with Eric. New CPR playfield is the way to go! Worth the extra money especially if you have to do all that work. You may want to reach out to Mark (Methos) as he may have a playfield to sell. It's mentioned in his game ad on here. I just tried to contact him, but I think somebody might of bea...

Re: overlay or new playfield

I'm not a big fan of playfield overlays. I'd suggest spending the extra few hundred for a new playfield. Did you get the switch issue figured out? Yes I did. Found a wire that still had insulation around it that lead to one of the switches that seemed kinda thin, when I cut open it was hanging on b...

overlay or new playfield

So I'm thinking of doing a restoration on a Zenon, but was thinking of doing an overlay instead of a new playfield from CPR to save money. I was going to put a playfield protector over the top (a sheet of plastic over the overlay not Mylar). What are people's thoughts?

Re: Xenon switch issue.

Found the issue. Found a weak spot on one of the wires that was still insulated but felt like it was hanging on one strand. Repaired the wire and everything was good. It's just to bad I bought a Alltek board thinking it was the board issue, but with out it I probably wouldn't of found the issue.

Thank everyone for coming. Maybe next time I'll have Xenon playable enough to be in the tournament.
