Re: Stern insider connect - thoughts

I think it's kinda nifty, but it's not going to make me "play one more game", when I'm oot and aboot those decisions are made by time and available funds, not chasing fake prizes. I like tech gadgets. I think this is a cool gadget to add some current tech to pinball without messing up why ...

Don't expect the code to be different. It's just an asset swap. They'll play the same.

Re: Awwww. Damn It

I wonder if the new owners (After touring it when it was all set up when they were checking it out to buy) will end up wanting some pins now.

Gonna leave the 2 in-set PF wall decor things? Or take them with and throw plywood or something in the hole?

I like how as the looming move of your giant pile of games comes ever closer you're deciding to part with more of them :)

Re: Covid- How is Everyone Holding Up?

1. Still working. I do sysadmin junk for a web company, so working remotely (we're all working remotely). Liz is a RN for a nursing home, so she's still working, though she had most of March off for kid's spring breaks, TPF and MGC, so we were all camped out together for a lot of it so far. She's ba...

Re: Introduction

Ballers is more like a monthly social pinball hangout. There's no on-going scoring, they're just stand-alone dinner (or lunch) and some ping-pong events. Ballers doesn't do IFPA points, it's just a cash in, cash out situation. At the end of the event, top 2 or 3 get paid (depending on attendance num...

Re: Introduction

Welcome!

If you're free on the afternoon of February 9th, there's a Ballers right near your town! Totally casual match play - $10 to the host for food, $10 to the pot, pinball all afternoon.

Re: Rick and Morty

The topper is essentially the picture Charlie posted; I think. Portal rotates on a motor (controllable on/of by the game), the other pieces will be in different layers for a 3d look to it. And it's got some flashers for lighting effects.

I'm gonna have to miss this one I guess. "crunch time" and all on some thing I'm working on. Liz is working too.

But hey, if anybody wants to come over and try to help make R&M crash, let me know.

Re: Rick and Morty

See if Kingpin has any spots left if you want to be sure of getting a game. He can get your order in during the 2 week fang club period if you're a member. Then you don't have any worry, because if Chris says he still has a spot, he's got a spot. The distributors get a set allotment, so they know ho...
